Jersey Boys Star Set for "My Fair Lady"
Daniel Reichard will take part in the 90th season of St. Louis Muny productions.
Playbill announced Monday that Daniel Reichard, from the Tony award winning cast of Jersey Boys, will play Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady at the St. Louis Muny.
This will be Reichard's first show since leaving Jersey Boys in early January.
Casting also boasts Catherine Brunell as Eliza Doolittle, and Robert Westenberg as Henry Higgins.
My Fair Lady is based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and features a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. The original Broadway musical opened in 1956, and a second film version is currently in the works.
The classic Lerner and Loewe musical will play the St. Louis venue, also the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre, July 7-13.
