This is the most watched finale of the show yet.

Jersey Shore seems to still be going strong after three seasons. The season finale of the third season aired on Thursday night, and it came in with more viewers than the season finale of the previous season.

MSNBC reports that the show attracted 7.6 million viewers and most of these viewers were in the 12 to 34-year-old age group. This is definitely one of MTV’s top shows and has continued to get higher ratings as the show goes on. These ratings are up from both the first and second seasons. The third season of the show sees cast members back in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. This is where the show first originated, but during the second season, they took a trip to spend some time in Miami. Jersey Shore has already been confirmed for a fourth season which will see the cast headed across continents to Italy.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the high ratings for Jersey Shore also seemed to help the ratings for another MTV original show, The Hard Times of RJ Berger. The first episode of its second season saw an increase in ratings from the series premiere. Vinny from Jersey Shore has also been in ads for this show as RJ’s cousin.
