Jessica Biel without a ring and Justin Timberlake at the Golden Globes

New Year’s Eve actress Jessica Biel hit the red carpet at the 69th annual Golden Globes, but she was missing two big accessories: her boyfriend Justin Timberlake, and the engagement ring he reportedly popped the question with over the holidays.

Rumors began swirling late last year that Justin Timberlake, 30, had popped the question to Biel, 29, after four years and a quick split. The private couple never officially confirmed the engagement news themselves, but instead Timberlake’s grandmother reportedly spilled the beans.

“He called me on Christmas Day and told me he’s engaged,” Timberlake’s grandmother Sadie Bomar told Gossip Cop. “The family loves Jessie… she’s a very sweet girl.”

It seems Jessica isn’t ready to take the engagement news public, though. In her first appearances since the engagement news, she was sans any diamond ring on her ring finger. Her first appearance was at Saturday night's W magazine Golden Globes party, where she was also without Timberlake and a ring, but nonetheless happy.

"Jessica was absolutely glowing and radiant," an onlooker told Us Weekly. "I've never seen her look so happy!

At the big show on Sunday where she was a presenter, she had many thinking of a wedding. According to many, her dress, a long sleeve gown by Elie Saab, resembled a wedding dress.
