Jessica Lange Suffers Fall in Home

Lange, 59, fell down a flight of stairs in her Minnesota home.

Actress Jessica Lange has been taken to the hospital after she fell down a flight of stairs in her home, according to MSNBC. Her representative, Leslee Dart, released a statement saying, "She bruised her ribs, broke her collarbone and received a small cut on her forehead. She will be completely fine and expects to be released from the hospital imminently." The injury, first reported by celebrity Web site TMZ, happened while Lange, 59, was vacationing at her Minnesota home Tuesday.

Lange will be starring alongside Drew Barrymore in the HBO film, Grey Gardens, premiering on April 18. Lange will also turn 60 next month.

Lange's film career began in 1976 playing King Kong's crush in the 1976 version of King Kong. She has been previously nominated for six Oscars and she won twice. She won best supporting actress for Tootsie in 1982 and best leading actress for 1994's Blue Sky.
