Jessica Simpson ecstatic to be a mother

“We can’t wait to meet our baby!” Jessica Simpson gushed in new Us Weekly issue. “We’re both thrilled.”

Now that rumors of her pregnancy have been confirmed, the 31-year old singer can’t stop talking about her little bun in the oven.

According to Yahoo! OMG!, a pal of Simpson told Us that the first-time mother-to-be is “very, very excited about the pregnancy. Family is a really important thing to her.”

Luckily for the star, she hasn’t experienced morning sickness… yet. However, her sleeping habits have definitely changed. “She goes to bed super early and wakes up at 5:30 a.m.” reported the pal.

CelebrityFIX reported one other major change that has happened since the news of the pregnancy was released. Simpson, who was due to walk down the aisle with baby-daddy Eric Johnson next week, has pushed the ceremony back until after the baby is born.

“It’s going to be at a later date now [because] they really want to enjoy this time in their lives,” a source reported.
