Jessica Simpson: A Roller Coaster of Emotions

Fresh off from a split with Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson has many emotions about the break-up.

This past week was a hard week for Jessica Simpson. She and Tony Romo ended their almost two-year romantic relationship. While Tony Romo has been seen out after the break-up, Jessica has yet to be seen.

"Jessica was really blindsided, She's sad, mad, and confused. Her emotions are all over the place," a close friend of Simpson told People magazine. "Dating her comes along with her celebrity and press – that's not easy for anyone, But she and Tony seemingly had it figured out. They rolled with the punches and focused on each other. They just lost sight of that at the end."

According to the friend, Simpson has been lying low and staying out of the public eye. She has been with her family and they are being very supportive of the situation.

The timing of this breakup is a bit convenient being that her ex, Nick Lachey, just called it quits with his girlfriend of 2 1/2 years, Vanessa Minillo. But according to a source, a reconciliation between Jessica and Nick "won't happen."
