Jessica Simpson's New Movie Gets Pushed Back

What is the most interesting thing about Jessica Simpson? Considering she is rarely in the news anymore without a mention of a break-up or make-up, people think her relationships are the most interesting thing about her. She was a modest, virginal pop star when she first arrived on the scene. Then when her relationship with singer Nick Lachey landed her a plum gig on the hit MTV reality show "Newlyweds" everything started happening for her. Simpson surpassed Lachey on the star meter and was rolling in the movie roles and cosmetic lines. After her break up with Lachey most of the news surrounding Simpson had to do with her on-again off-again relationship with singer John Mayer. Has the sense of novelty that got her lead roles in movies like "The Dukes of Hazard" and "Employee of the Month" worn off, or will talent actually shine through? Her latest movie, "Blonde Ambition" will be pushed back from it's August 3rd release date to the end of August. Reports say the her performance is so bad that her father and manager asked the studio to push the movie back so it wont compete with bigger movies. The film is based on the movie "Working Girl", which starred Melanie Griffith.
