Jessica Simpson's new reality show

Jessica Simpson first shot to fame with her short-lived MTV reality series, "Newlyweds," which was filmed with now ex-husband Nick Lachey. Now perhaps older and wiser, Simpson will appear in another reality show on VH1, titled "The Price of Beauty," which features the singer/actress's views on true beauty, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The premise of the program is for Simpson to find many women of all different cultures and body types and study what it means for these women to feel beautiful and how the media affects these ideas. Simpson stated that she was "intrigued" by this opportunity to learn about other cultures' standards of beauty. According to Us Weekly, Jessica has had her fair share of scrutiny over her fluctuating body type over the years. She has said, "I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful." The new series will premiere in early 2010.
