Will Jessica Simpson be the next Jennifer Hudson? Weight Watchers and the 31-year old mom-to-be are currently discussing a $4 million deal for Simpson to join the program and shed some pounds after she delivers her baby.

The singer was originally planning on joining Weight Watchers to lose some of the extra pounds she had gained over the past few years; but then she got pregnant. However, a source reported that this was the “perfect compromise.”

According to Yahoo! OMG!, the contract states that Simpson would have one year to lose a significant amount of weight by following the point-counting program.

Once she dropped the pregnancy weight, she would show off her Weight Watchers body like fellow spokeswoman, Jennifer Hudson.

Unlike most pregnant women, Simpson is not upset about gaining the extra baby weight.

“I’m bigger than I’ve ever been,” the star admitted. “But I want to show off my bump!”

Once the baby is born, hopefully Simpson will have a success story with the program like Hudson.

On WeightWatchers, Hudson tells why she decided to start the program. She also keeps a blog that she updates regularly and shows her viewers a few healthy recipes and workout tricks that have worked for her.
