Pop star falls ill during talk show taping.
Singer / actress Jessica Simpson was treated and released for a stomach virus in Chicago Monday according to the Associated Press.
Simpson was in Chicago for a taping of the Oprah Winfrey show when she reportedly became dehydrated and had to be hospitalized. Brad Cafarelli, Simpson's spokesperson told the AP the star has returned home to Los Angeles and is feeling much better.
The pop tart's segment on the Oprah show, about red carpet makeovers is scheduled to air Friday.
