Jewels reported missing after Lohan's London photo shoot

After a photo shoot with Lindsay Lohan took place in northern London, over $400,000 worth of jewelry has gone missing.

Jewels worth approximately 250,000 pounds ($410,000) have gone missing after a recent photo shoot in London involving actress Lindsay Lohan, according to Reuters. The theft was reported two days after the photo shoot, which took place on June 6.

The AP stated in an article that Lohan's spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane-Zelnik, said on Tuesday that Lindsay is not currently being investigated and has yet to be questioned by the police regarding the incident. Sloane-Zelnik maintained, however, that should the authorities contact Lohan during their investigation, she would comply.

According to the article, Elle released a statement on Tuesday saying that "it had no reason to believe that Lohan was in any way linked to the alleged theft."

MercuryNews.com reports that the diamond jewels, which were earrings and a necklace made by Dior, had been loaned to Elle for use during the photo shoot at the Islington studio. There were reportedly 20 other people present at the shoot and police are still investigating, but have yet to make any arrests.
