Jim Carrey's Daughter is Expecting
Funny man Jim Carrey's newest role? He's going to be a grandfather.
Jim Carrey's daughter, 21-year-old Jane Carrey, is expecting her first child, according to his spokeswoman Marleah Leslie.
The father is Jane's longtime boyfriend and fiance Alex Santana, a rock musician known as "Nitro" in his band, Blood Money. Jane, too, is a musician, and is the lead singer of the Jane Carrie Band.
"Jane is ecstatic," a source revealed to RadarOnline.com, one of the first to repost the news. "She and Alex are now engaged and are thrilled at becoming parents."
And Jim Carrey's sentiments? In a statement issued by Leslie, Jim Carrey says he's "very excited" and "Jane is going to be a great mom."
Jane is the 47-year-old comedian's daughter with his first wife, Melissa. There is no word yet on when she will give birth.
