Jim Zorn to Hand Over Playcalling

Washington Redskins coach Jim Zorn will no longer be calling the plays for his team this season.

Washington Redskins v Carolina Panthers

After an inept offensive outing against the previously winless Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins coach Jim Zorn has elected to give up playcalling, reportsFOXSports.com. After the game, Zorn met with Redskins vice president Vinny Cerrato, who said Zorn "had too much on his plate" and instructed him to handover playcalling.
In her Washington Post blog, columnist Cindy Boren writes that the Redskins are part of the NFL's "hideous seven", a group which includes the Detroit Lions, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cleveland Browns, the St. Louis Rams, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders. She cites that although the Redskins have won two games, both victories were by small margins and they have had the NFL's weakest schedule so far this season.
