Jimmy Fallon brings David Bowie and Tim Tebow together (VIdeo)

During his time on Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Fallon was the master of celebrity impressions and performed more song parodies for unnecessary occasions (Bastille Day, anyone?) than any other cast member, ever. So it's only fitting that Fallon take on the man of the moment, a man who has already inspired so many parodies,Tim Tebow himself.

Fallon has already given us hilariously unexpected musical performances from odd couple pairings like Neil Young's cover of "Party in the USA" and "Whip My Hair," performed by, who else, Bruce Springsteen, reports Entertainment Weekly. In Thursday night's episode of Late Night, Fallon added another hilarious number to his repertoire as he took the stage in silver makeup, silver platform shoes and a Broncos jersey as "Tebowie," (a cross between Tim Tebow and David Bowie, obviously).

Fallon performed an updated version of Bowie's classic song, "Space Oddity," with a little twist. Instead of Bowie's lyrics, "Ground control to Major Tom," Fallon starts the song off, "Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ." He goes on to sing, "Can't win by myself but with your help I might."

Fallon has already taken on Tebow once, in a sketch on Saturday Night Live where Jesus pays a visit to Tebow in the locker room after a game. Just like in the sketch, Jesus tells Tebow that even with him on their side, New England might be too much for God and the Broncos.

"This is Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow, please leave me alone," Fallon sang. "I hear you play New England next week/Dude you're on your own. Brady is too good and I've got better things to do."

Although Tebow time may be coming to an end with Saturday's game, he has provided the entertainment community with endless material. Tebowie knelt down on one knee as the song ended as he sang, "Come on everyone Tebow."
