Well why not? Jimmy Fallon's "History of Rap" mixes with Justin Timberlake basically deserve Grammys.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jimmy Fallon is looking to release a comedy album by next summer.
He is currently recording tracks for the album, which is being produced by Warner Bros. Records. In the late night talk show host's record deal, he studio made him a member of the Warner Music Nashville roster.
The Wrap reported the Saturday Night Live alum's album "will include music, parodies and other impresario compositions that became instant classics after performances by Jimmy and his guests on the Late Night show," Warner said in a statement.
And in true comedian form, the 37-year-old couldn't help making a joke or two about his new career.
"Having a new album coming out soon on Warner Bros. means so much to me," he said.
"Mostly, it means I should probably start writing some songs."
This is his second comedy album and he has a lot to live up to. His first album, 2002's The Bathroom Wall earned a Best Spoken Comedy Album.
It's okay Jimmy, we believe in you! You can do it again!
