Jimmy Kimmel Celebrates 1000th Episode
If the success of a talk show is marked by its longevity, then Jimmy Kimmel has much to be happy about.
On Thursday night, April 3, 2008, Jimmy Kimmel celebrated the 1000th episode of his late night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! Preempting ABC's Nightline for the occasion, the 90 minute show was quite a fest. To help celebrate, his guests for the night were Richard Simmons, Eva Longoria Parker, and Kid Rock.
The program featured memorable flashbacks from the show's past history, and regulars Guillermo, Uncle Frank, Veatrice, and Cleto and the Cletones were all on hand to help with the festivities. Sam Elliott and Jared the Subway Guy also made surprising cameos.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been aired on the ABC network since 2003. Kimmel thanked his staff, ABC, and viewers for their support.
