Jimmy Kimmel Ditches His Appendix
Funny guy Jimmy Kimmel should be careful about laughing too hard for a few days, seeing as he might pull some stitches. The comedian and late night talk show host underwent an emergency appendectomy Wednesday night in Los Angeles reports Actress Archives. Kimmel's publicist, Lewis Kay, assures the comedian's fans that the surgery was a success and that Jimmy is comfortably resting and eager to get back into the work scene according to E! Online.
Kimmel's emergency operation may have gone off without a hitch, but it will leave his show down and out for a while. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" has canceled all remaining tapings this week, instead opting to rerun classic episodes to fill the void. Old shows featuring stars like Geoffrey Rush, Kevin Costner, Mary Lynn Raiskub, and Leslie Mann can be viewed in coming days. Don't expect to see Kimmel back on air before Monday.
