J.Lo's 40th Birthday Bash

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 40th birthday in style on Saturday night with a dinner party at Hotel Griffou in Greenwich Village. The bash was titled "An Evening for Lola," in reference to J.Lo's nickname given to her by her husband, Marc Anthony. A true diva, she made her grande entrance to the song, "Whatever Lola Wants."

People reports that Lopez showed up in a gorgeous Grecian-inspired gown with a mood ready for an exciting night, "Jen was in an amazing mood . . . she was glowing and just radiating happiness."

Lopez has been known to be one of the industry's most demanding divas and that's the story the New York Daily News was reporting on Saturday night, who claimed that Lopez threw a fit when guests were arriving late, "Jennifer was really irritated. She was fuming because people were late, and complaining about it really loudly to Marc."

Another question on everyone's minds Saturday night was how the Lopez-Anthony marriage is holding up. With reports of a divorce being announced in February, some people are surprised the couple are still together five months later. People reports, "They were affectionate with each other and obviously loving the night. Marc's arm was around Jennifer a lot and they'd give each other pecks on the face every now and then."
