Joanna Krupa Creates Controversy with New PETA Campaign

Playboy cover girl Joanna Krupa stirs controversy with her new PETA ad

Joanna Krupa caused a scandal among Catholics by her appearance on the new PETA ads, reported USA Today.

The Playboy model unveiled the new "Be an Angel for Animals" campaign, where she is shown naked with a pair of wings and a cross which covers only parts of her body.

In another ad for the campaign a topless Krupa holds a dog in one arm and a rosary hanging from the other.

Krupa who is also a competitor in "Dancing with the Stars," led a protest on Wednesday outside Barkworks, a pet store in Los Angeles, where she unveiled the new campaign which criticizes the pet stores for selling puppies while there are homeless dogs at animal shelters.

Krupa told reporters she is a catholic and in opposition to what The Catholic League officials said, she believes Catholics should be working to stop "senseless suffering of animals" instead of constantly criticizing her ads.
