Johansson Denies She Will Play Jenna Jameson

In what has surely been a devastating blow to many of her fans, Scarlett Johansson has firmly denied rumors that she will play porn star Jenna Jameson in the upcoming biopic Heartbraker. Jameson herself did much to help spread this rumor when, at the last Comic Con convention, she commented on Johansson's performance in "Lost in Translation:" "I remember thinking to myself, this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy. I was like, 'This girl could play me.' I love her. She's amazing. She's smart, she's funny. ... She's stunning. I don't want someone who's going to go in there and be like bouncing around. I want someone who can bring some depth," she said. (Surely it is Johansson's "depth" and acting ability that made so many people anxious to see her play a porn star.) In any case, Johansson's representative told People.com, "Scarlett has never seen a script nor been approached about this project. She also has no interest in playing this role."
