Johansson, Reynolds Engaged

Scarlett Johansson and her boyfriend of two years, Ryan Reynolds, are engaged.

The 23-year-old actress of Lost in Translation and The Other Boleyn Girl fame, and the 31-year-old actor haven't set a wedding date, said Johansson's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, Monday. The actor recently starred in Definitely Maybe and the third Smokin' Aces.

The news broke on a multitude of different channels, including Yahoo Entertainment, The Insider and People. Reynolds, it must be noted, was previously engaged to fellow Canadian, singer Alanis Morissette.

Johansson, who has also starred in The Island and The Nanny Diaries, has also recently released her debut album of 14 Tom Waits songs. Her album, surprisingly to many, has received great reviews from a slew of well-respected music magazines. Among the magazines are NME and Rolling Stone, who have both said that it will garner consideration for record of the year in December.
