John Cusack gets restraining order against stalker
John Cusack won a court battle Tuesday when a judge issued a restraining order against the woman whom Cusack said had been stalking him for the past year-and-a-half.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered that Emily Leatherman, must stay 500 feet away from the actor at all times, according to People Magazine.
According to court documents obtained by People Magazine, Leatherman was "showing unusual interest by stalking, throwing long letters of interest over my fence in bags with rocks and screwdrivers inside, making unannounced visits to offices of people I work with in an attempt to meet with me and listing my address as her own during a recent arrest."
Court records also state Leatherman was homeless and threatened acts of violence against herself if Cusack did not help her.
