John Travolta and Kelly Preston Still Healing From Son's Death
It has been a year since John Travolta and Kelly Preston's son, Jett Travolta, died last year from a seizure. The 16-year-old faced a health crisis during a family vacation in the Bahamas. The couple claims they "work hard everyday" on coping with their son's death.
In order to help in the healing process, the couple flew to Haiti in order to help aid with relief efforts. Travolta, along with Scientology doctors and ministers, flew a jetliner to the devastated city of Port-au-Prince providing relief supplies. He stated would not mind going back to the country to provide additional help.
Travolta's wife, Preston, added, "It helps to look out and be helpful to other people … that really helps."
Travolta returns to the big screen on February 5 with his new movie, From Paris With Love. When asked about the transition back to acting, Travolta said, "Once you get yourself stable, then you're able to reach out again, you know, and I think this whole year every day we've been working on stabilizing ourselves and it's been successful so far."
