Johnny Depp Makes Surprise Appearance at San Diego Comic-Con Panel
Johnny Depp wowed fans when he unexpectedly showed up at the Disney 3-D panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Johnny Depp came on stage at the end of Tim Burton's presentation of footage from his version of "Alice in Wonderland," in which Depp plays the Mad Hatter.
Although Depp did not answer questions, the crowd was incredibly pleased to see him, cheering and screaming his name, while camera flashes filled the room.
Depp's surprising appearance ended the panel discussion, during which filmmaker Burton showed a teaser trailer that included various footage from the film in 3-D.
"Alice in Wonderland" will also include the likes of Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and is slated to come out in March 2010.
