Johnny Knoxville's Latest Stunt

The Associated Press reported that Johnny Knoxville, known for his stunts on Jackass, was detained by authorities on Thursday when a grenade was found in his carry-on luggage at Los Angeles International airport. When security screeners spotted the grenade, a bomb squad was called. They determined the grenade was inert as it lacked a firing pin or explosive.

After being questioned, Knoxville was allowed to board his American Airlines flight to Miami. The 38-year-old actor claimed it was a prop he had forgotten to remove from his bag. His publicist declined to comment. Prosecutors will decide whether to charge him with the misdemeanor crime of bringing a prohibited item into a secure area of the airport.
