Jolie Speaks as Goodwill Ambassador

Angelina Jolie spoke to the World Economic Forum today and pleaded they not be star struck by her. The Hollywood actress is in Davos, Switzerland serving as goodwill ambassador for the United Nations refugee agency. Jolie spoke in favor of increasing the humanitarian efforts in war-torn countries such as Afghanistan.

While lobbying, Jolie urged business leaders and politicians to not be overcome by her star status. The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star said "I just think if I can ask anything it's for everybody in this room, including myself, to stay focused on the issues, she said, adding, "to follow up on Darfur, to watch what is happening in the courts, to follow up on Nepal ... on Afghanistan."
