Jolie Takes on "Wanted"

Despite saying that she wants to take time off to spend with her growing family, actress Angelina Jolie is planning to once again step in front of the camera. Jolie will be starring alongside Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy in the new action movie, Wanted. The film is set to begin shooting in May, in Eastern Europe. Wanted is based upon a graphic novel and will be helmed by Timur Bekmambetov, a Russian director. Bekmambetove previously directed Nochnoy Dozor (Night Watch, in English), a blockbuster Russian film from 2004.

Wanted revolves around a young man who has been recruited to replace his dead father, who the boy just learned was an assassin. Jolie has signed on to play the woman assigned to teach the boy the ins and outs of being an assassin.

The U.N. Goodwill Ambassador will also be seen this year starring in A Mighty Heart as Mariane Pearl, a Plan B production (Plan B is Brad Pitt's production company). A Mighty Heart is set to open on June 22.
