Jon and Kate Plus 8 Production On Hold

A report on CBS's "Early Show" Thursday from TLC stated that production of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" has been suspended. Jon Gosselin sent a letter through his lawyer forbidding the production crews to enter the Gosselin home in Wernersville, PA.

The letter was dated Tuesday, the same day TLC announced that Jon would be sidelined and the reality show would be renamed "Kate Plus 8".

After the cease-and-desist order was issued to TLC, they released a statement saying "Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents."

The Network plans to continue filming that doesn't involve the children.

TLC has stated that the Gosselin family was shooting for the show as recently as last Friday.
