Though the couple are going through a divorce, they spent the Independence Day weekend together with their children, according to Fox News. It is also being reported that the reason for this togetherness is to keep the deal that they will spend an equal amount of time with their children, People.com reported.

Also according to Fox News, the Gosselin family played volleyball and picked blueberries for a cake at the planned event. It is known that this was not a last minute decision. The Gosselins decided to spend Fourth of July together before deciding to divorce.
