Jon and Kate's Ratings Plummet
When trouble surfaced for Jon and Kate Gosselin regarding their marriage, viewers flocked to tune into the TLC show, which brought in 10 million viewers, reports the Daily News. Now with the public divorce announcement behind them, the show's season premiere brought in only 4 million viewers.
Many are questioning if the show can survive a divorce. Two new episodes aired on Monday night and the first one showed Kate camping with the kids. Jon was absent from the entire episode. The second showed the couple together briefly before Kate took the children to the beach for two weeks while Jon stayed home to oversee the remodeling of their kitchen.
In a new interview with In Touch magazine Jon says, "things have gotten out of control" and he's "tired of being blamed." Gosselin admits that his marriage to Kate actually ended last October, but was not made public until a couple of months ago. Gosselin says by January the couple were no longer living together. He says that he tried therapy and self help books but that Kate was not interested in attending therapy and was the one who came to him out of the blue and said, "I am done."
Stay tuned for Kate's side of the story.
