Reality television star of Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate Gosselin, generated income by writing a series of books and releasing them in stores nationwide. It appears that her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, may decide to follow in her footsteps. However, E! Online is reporting that Gosselin, 33, has not confirmed plans to write a book entitled A Slice of Life: Jon Gosselin’s Story. His representative, Canaan Rubin, told E!, “He’s considering one in the near future. [But] nothing’s being written right now.”
Earlier today, various media sources reported that he would be writing a book about his rise to fame on reality television and experiences as a father of eight. According to Access Hollywood, Gosselin will receive assistance from his life coach, Sylvia Lafair, if he ultimately decides to become an author.
Rubin elaborated on her client’s literary aspirations, saying, “They were thinking of [releasing a book], but it’s not written and may never be. That was just [an idea] tossed around.” His representative clarified that it would likely be quite some time before he begins writing his book, if he chooses to do so.
There is no word as to whether he will address other pertinent topics such as his tendency to date much younger women, his massive new dragon tattoo on his back or his continued struggles to extend his proverbial 15 minutes of fame.
