Jon pays Kate
After some time in family court on Tuesday, Jon Gosselin has been ordered by Montgomery County Judge Arthur R. Tilson to return $180,000 to his ex-wife Kate. Jon had withdrawn the money from the couple's joint bank account in violation of an arbitrator's order (according to the Associated Press).
Jon has to return the money, along with an account of his past expenses, by Oct. 26 or he will be summoned back to court for a contempt proceeding, reports TMZ.
Jon's lawyer isn't playing nice either. He released a statement that claimed there was no proof that the large sum of money Kate had spent was used for the family expenses she claimed. Kate is now also facing a review on the $55,000 she claims to have spent on household and child-related expenses.
