Jon (Plus 8 Minus Kate) Greets Fans on Father's Day

Father's Day weekend at the Gosselin's turned into a meet-and-greet session with Jon. While Jon Gosselin played with his kids outside their Wernersville, Penn. home, several fans made a surprise appearance, reports People magazine.

Jon was reportedly playing lacrosse and setting up a Slip 'N Slide for his eight children on their front lawn before breaking to greet fans, the first of whom were four teenage girls who screamed "Happy Father's Day, Jon!" as they approached the house. After acknowledging them with a wave and a "Thank you," Jon began signing family pictures for each of the girls as well as additional fans who stopped outside the house.

Jon responded to a variety of questions but left fans in suspense when it came to the fate of his marriage and his rumored apartment hunting in New York, telling them, "You'll have to watch the show."

Kate Gosselin was reportedly absent from the home all weekend and Jon admitted to having "no idea" where she was. Either way, Jon got exactly what he said he wanted for Father's Day, which was simply "spending time" with his children.
