Jon Voight "I Wanna See Shiloh!"

He may not be talking to the proud momma, but he still wants the world to know he's a grandfather.

With no leeway from estranged daughter Angelina Jolie, actor Jon Voight is going to the tabloids with a plea: Let me see my first granddaughter!

Baby Shiloh Nouvel, who was born Memorial Day weekend to Jolie and boyfriend/lover Brad Pitt, only popped up in British tab "Hello!" this week for the world to see. ("People" has reportedly negotiated the exclusive rights to official pictures, with the Pitt-Jolie family sending the proceeds to charity.) But Voight, 67, told magazine "Steppin' Out" that he is dying to see his Namibia-born granddaughter and is "very, very happy"... but would be happier if he could see her.

Just in case Jolie was still angry, Voight made sure to publicly praise the way his daughter has used her fame to draw attention to important causes, including her work with the UN. Awwwh. Now hand over the baby!
