The Jonas Brothers Are Planning to Release a New Album!
Billboard announced that The Jonas Brothers are putting the final touches on their third album, an as-yet-untitled affair that's due out July 8, via Hollywood Records.
The youngest Jonas states that the new material "is the same Jonas Brothers sound, but with just a couple more influences. We have some more Elvis Costello-type influences on it and obviously, of course, the Beatles."
The group plans to play four of its new songs during the headlining tour that kicks off Saturday in Atlanta.
Nonetheless, the new album is only one of the Jonas Brothers' endeavors for 2008. The group is already featured in the 3-D film from the recent Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds tour, which opens nationwide on Feb. 1, and the trio's first movie, Camp Rock, is expected to premiere in September on the Disney Channel.
The brothers are optimistic of this year's up-coming endeavors and, in good spirits, are happily reporting; "We're kind of just continuing to say, 'This is just the beginning, guys. We've got to keep working hard, keep busting our butts and trying to make it go one step further.' It is just the beginning for us."
