Jonas Brothers Making It Big
The three boys that have been making most pre-teen hearts beat uncontrollably have professionally proven their popularity. The Jonas Brothers have reached the top of the U.S. Billboard charts with their hit rock album, A Little Bit Longer, says Reuters.com.
Some 525, 000 copies have been sold, making the album the third highest in sales in 2008, according to Reuters.com. The boy band is following behind Lil' Wayne's album, Tha Carter III, and Coldplay's Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends.
They have also been featured in the soundtrack to the Disney movie, Camp Rock, which has remained at the No. 8 spot in its second week.
"The sibling group also scores the rare feat of having two albums simultaneously in the uppermost echelon of the Billboard 200. . . . It's the first time a group has scored two concurrent top 10 albums since 'N Sync did so on the chart dated January 2, 1999, with Home for Christmas at No. 10 and 'N Sync at No. 2," reported Reuters.com.
Could the Jonas Brothers be the next 'N Sync of this generation?
