Jonas Brothers take no time to steal the top spot
Is it really that surprising that the Jonas Brothers' album "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times" will debut at number one on next week's albums chart? Nielsen SoundScan presented that the album sold more than 247,000 copies, making this the second time the Jonas Brothers topped the charts, according to MTV.com.
The album was able to push the Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies)" down the charts and move Incubus' "Monuments and Melodies" to the number five spot, as indicated by Entertainment Weekly.
Although selling 247,000 copies is great, the Jonas Brothers' 2008 album, "A Little Bit Longer" sold 525,000 copies in its opening week, as per Rolling Stone.
It is evident that the band is out of its trying times and flying high. If you are making bets on how long the brothers will remain at the top of the charts, bet high on them staying there for a long time to come.
