Jones-Reynolds gets The View of the back door
On Tuesday, Star Jones Reynolds made a fuzzy announcement about how she and the show are going in "different directions." Trouble is, Barbara Walters and Jones-Reynolds had agreed to make a joint announcement Thursday. Walters made a quick recovery, but her shock was obvious.
It didn't help that news surfaced about Jones-Reynolds' interview with People magazine slamming Walters and "The View" for "firing" her. Walters didn't know about that one, either.
It turns out revenge is quick on the morning talk show.
Jones-Reynolds was supposed to remain in the cast until July, but viewers noticed Wednesday that she was gone. Her photo was no longer in the opening, and the cast was a meager Walters, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
Here's a tip: if you want to survive in the industry, don't piss off Barbara.
