Josh Duhamel Says Fergie Helps Him Appreciate Love and Beauty

The actor says his new movie role helped him appreciate his relationship with wife Fergie

At a New York press conference for the movie The Romantics, star Josh Duhamel comments on his marriage to Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson of The Black Eyed Peas, saying he appreciates Fergie’s inner beauty and their connection. “You grow up and you realize it isn’t about the aesthetic. It’s about whether or not that person makes you better and whether or not that person makes you happy. You’re lucky if you find it.”

In Duhamel’s new role, he gets caught up in a love triangle leading up to his wedding to his bride played by True Blood actress Anna Paquin. The role made Duhamel appreciate his real life relationship. “It makes me appreciate my wedding,” he says. “It makes me appreciate that I knew going in that I was with the one I wanted to be with.” The couple married in January 2009.
