Josh Hutcherson: The New Spider Man?
Rumor has it that he will be Peter Parker.
According to Entertainment Weekly, 17-year-old Josh Hutcherson did not even know that he was going to be considered for the part of the web slinger until “the random blogs” started buzzing.
The actor said that his mother found out through Google alerts that he would be up for the role, while his agent always looks out for the news.
When asked if he had been in formal meetings for the role, Hutcherson said, “There’ve been so many people that have gone in for that role. I’ve done the same thing that every other actor my age has for that part.”
The actor, who starred in the “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” said that he feels privileged to be on the “short list” of actors up for the role.
