Julia Roberts is an evil Evil Queen

Julia Roberts is taking on one highly anticipated, very different role as the Evil Queen in a yet-to-be-titled Snow White film starring Abduction’s Lily Collins. But while she admits the dwarfs are very different from the original fairytale, her evil role is still very evil.

Roberts apparently has become a very convincing evil queen, one that had Lily Collins with goosebumps.

"She gave me goosebumps. She played the Evil Queen brilliantly. You forget that's really Julia because she's so good,” Collins recently admitted, according to The Winnipeg Free Press. “Off camera, she's so down to earth and so sweet. We'd be shooting and she's being extremely horrible to me [in character] and once they yell cut, the first thing she says to me, 'Are you okay? I'm sorry, I hate being mean to you.'"

Her Evil Queen role is one that she admits she’s afraid to tell her three kids about because the character gave them nightmares.

“I haven’t like spelled it out that I’m the Evil Queen,” she told Access Hollywood. “Because I showed [my kids] [Disney’s] ‘Snow White’ and they had nightmares and they cried.”

The yet-to-be-titled Snow White film is set for release in 2012.
