Julianne Hough Doing Well After Surgery
Dancing with the Stars' contestant Julianne Hough is doing well after a surgery for endometriosis, reports People.com.
On October 28, she underwent a two hour procedure removing her appendix, a cyst on her ovary and scar tissue from her bladder and fallopian tubes.
Five days later, Hough tells people that she is "feeling phenomenal. I am still walking slow but I'm feeling good."
The dancer also told People that her mother, Mariann Nelson, and boyfriend, country singer Chuck Wicks, have been with her every step of the way giving her their support.
She said of Wicks that he "got to see me at my lowest point. You can really tell when someone loves you because they mean it. They are not just taking care of you because you need it, they WANT to take care of you. He's a sweetheart."
She will even be back to the seventh season of Dancing as soon as possible.
Dr. Randy S. Harris told the magazine that Hough "should be able to dance again in about a week. She was exhausted and a little dehydrated, so that's why she needs to get a little more rest."
This is good news for her partner, Cody Linley, who looks forward to having her back saying, "I miss her so much. She's my best friend."
Hough will be healthy enough to still serve as host of the Country Music Association Awards pre-show on Nov 12.
Hough's personal doctor determined that she had endometriosis after severe stomach pains sent her to the emergency room back on October 2.
