Julianne Hough's Last Season in "Dancing with the Stars"

Julianne Hough will be taking time off "Dancing with the Stars" to focus on her singing career.

Julianne Hough confirmed to Fox News that this is her last season on Dancing with the Stars, aceshowbiz.com reports. Hough is taking a break from the show to focus on her singing career and prove to her fans that she deserved the two awards she received in the Academy of Country Music Awards. She won Top New Artist and Top New Female Vocalist.

Hough said she wasn't supposed to be in this season of Dancing with the Stars.

"But I went back and it's been so much fun to dance with my good friend who happens to be my boyfriend," she said.

She told E! News that doing two different things at the same time gets you "exhausted and overworked." She would make guest appearances in the show, but her focus now is her music.

"I want to make the best record I can possible and show everyone I'm committed and that's where my heart is," Hough said.
