Jurors get a Tour of the Spector Home

The jury in the Phil Spector murder trial visited the murder site.

The jury in the Phil Spector murder trial toured the legendary producer's L.A.area home in Alhambra on Thursday, trying to get more information about the death of actress Lana Clarkson.

Twelve panel members and six alternative jurors walked through the mansion, which sits on a hill in a middle-class neighborhood.

Spector himself welcomed them to the house he calls the Pyrenees Castle, as identified in a sign outside his house.

This was the first and only scheduled visit to the site for the panel. Dozens of local police and sheriff's deputies assembled to keep the news media and spectators away as Judge Larry Paul Fidler, lawyers, and other court personnel watched.

Spector is currently on trial for the murder of Lana Clarkson, who died at the mansion four years ago.
