Justin Bieber to host Saturday Night Live this year

Justin Bieber may be hosting Saturday Night Live sometime this year. On his morning podcast, Here’s The Thing on WNYC, Alec Baldwin accidently slipped the information that Bieber is on the list of this year’s hosts.

Baldwin was talking to SNL’s executive producer, Lorne Michaels, about the new season, when he accidently listed all of the names of this year’s hosts he saw on a private board in Lorne’s office, reported Perez Hilton.

“The biggest names in the business are coming here thirty-something years after SNL’s debut to host the show,” Baldwin said. “Ben Stiller, Melissa McCarthy, won the Emmy award, and Katy Perry’s coming and Jimmy Fallon, who’s double-dipping on your payroll, Jonah Hill, and I don’t want to ruin any other names, but Bieber’s confirmed he’s the music and the host.”

Bieber appeared on SNL in April 2010 as a musical guest, but he has not yet been a host. He was also a guest star on the show last February. Perez Hilton believes that Bieber will act as both a performer and a host during his episode as many other pop performers have done on SNL.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, NBC has not yet confirmed this information that was provided by SNL’s executive producer.
