Justin Bieber cleared his Valentine’s Day schedule to make 6-year-old Avalanna Routh’s dreams come true.
Routh, who’s wish is to meet Bieber in person, has brain cancer, ATRT, and has since she was a baby.
The Daily Mail reports that Routh’s family had asked Bieber to meet with her through Facebook.
The Routh family reached out to local Boston TV stations as well as Fox25 to make this campaign go viral.
Facebook accounts and Twitter pages were established for the sole purpose of getting Routh a “date” with Bieber. It worked, as a FOX25 staff member had a friend who was closely connected to Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun.
When Bieber caught wind of the campaign, he flew out Routh and her family from Boston to New York to spend the afternoon with him on Monday. They ate cupcakes, played board games, and even got “married.”
“That was one of the best things i have ever done. she was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now!” Bieber tweeted after the visit. “#MrsBieber really inspired me.”
MSNBC reports that Bieber even let Routh style his famous hair the way she wanted. The two also exchanged autographs.
When Routh was asked how long she has been a fan of the “Baby” singer, she said “Seven years. No, 80. Eighty years.’’
