Justin Timberlake Chooses Mother Over Cameron Diaz

Justin Timberlake may need to "bring sexy back" again, as he seemed to confirm rumors of his pre-holiday break-up with actress Cameron Diaz when he showed up to a premiere for his new movie, Alpha Dog, in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with his mother, Lynn Harless, instead of with Diaz.

Timberlake, 25 and Diaz, 34, have been a couple since April 2003, but the two reportedly parted ways this winter with Timberlake spending his Christmas in Memphis, Tennessee with his family and Diaz going skiing in Vail, Colorado. According to the Star, a source close to Justin stated, "They had been planning to be together in Tennessee with his folks, but he came out alone and she stayed in L.A." The article also claimed Timberlake went to the Senses nightclub in Memphis during the holidays where he was overheard saying, "Me and Cameron? We're done," and told his friends, "the breakup is for keeps!" The source mentioned him acting very friendly around his ex-girlfriend, Veronica Finn, as well.

Before arriving at the Alpha Dog premiere, Timberlake made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote the film. In the past, the pop star has been open about his relationship with Diaz, but did not bring on the subject that night on the talk show. However, The Daily Telegraph reports that the couple was seen together days after Christmas in Los Angeles and told the media that they "do not comment on their personal lives."
