Justin Timberlake to join Clint Eastwood in 'Trouble with the Curve'

Justin Timberlake will add another film to his resume as he has agreed to join the cast of the new drama Trouble with the Curve. Among the film’s roster include Clint Eastwood, Matthew Lillard and Amy Adams.

Trouble with the Curve is a story which centers around an aging baseball scout who is on the search for new talent, and in that, is also trying to repair the relationship with his daughter. Adams will play an attorney, moving up the ranks on her way to partner in her firm. She also plays Eastwood’s daughter in the baseball drama. Timberlake will play a young player who is rumored to be Adams’ love interest in the film.

First Showing reports that Timberlake will play Johnny Flanagan, a former pitcher who works as a baseball scout.

The film is expected to hit theaters September 28. In the meantime, Timberlake will finish up his role in Inside Llewyn Davis. Prior to being cast in Trouble with the Curve, he starred in such movies as In Time, Bad Teacher, and Friends With Benefits. Eastwood’s longtime friend and producer partner Robery Lorenz will also make his directorial debut with this film.
