Kanye West and Bodyguard Arrested

So much for the fun had at the VMAs.

Kanye West, fresh off his Sunday night performance at the MTV Music Video Awards, is facing legal troubles today after he was arrested along with his bodyguard following a physical dispute with a bunch of photographers at Los Angeles International Airport, reports Reuters.

A representative from TMZ.com caught the whole incident on film and said that West came at a cameraman and tried to take his camera and after succeeding, West tossed the TV camera to the ground.

West's bodyguard then turned on the TMZ cameraman telling him to turn off the camera. What happened then, TMZ said, is that, "The assistant then grabbed the camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground."

An airport spokesman, Alberto Rodriguez, said that West and his bodyguard were arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism, and that West's bodyguard could also face battery charges.

The two have been released on bail, but only time will tell if charges will be pressed as spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office Jane Robison said, "We will wait for the police to complete their investigation."
