Kanye West, king of infamous rants, once again shocked the world with his public comments. This time, he compared himself to basketball legend Michael Jordan, as well as Adolf Hitler.
While performing at the Big Chill music festival Saturday night, the 34-year old rapper, singer and record producer went on one of his signature rants saying the following, according to TMZ.
“I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm f***ing insane ... like I'm Hitler. One day the light will shine through and one day people will understand everything I ever did."
Moments later, Kanye also suggested paralleling Michael Jordan's successes in the music industry. "Michael Jordan changed so much in basketball, he took his power to make a difference. It's so much f***ing going on in music right now and somebody has to make a f***ing difference," he said.
According to E! Online, the “misunderstood” rap artist finally redeemed himself last night when he paid tribute to the recent loss of music sensation Amy Winehouse, and also gave a shout-out to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, whose exhibit just closed in NYC this weekend.
